[ He stares at the bag for a moment, not understanding the gesture before he realizes. It's been years since someone's gotten him Valentine's Day chocolates... He takes the bag from her gingerly. ]
[There are only chocolates inside the bag. Not even any music-note patterns. Just little square chocolates in paper wrappers to keep them from sticking to each other.
Her smile brightens as she nods, clasping her hands in front of her.]
Yeah, it is! I guess it's not as big a deal to a boy, huh...? But I wanted to give you something anyway.
[ A small, barely noticeable smile creeps onto his face. She remembered him! ]
Thank you. I haven't gotten any since middle school.
[ Back when kids got chocolates for everyone in class... He unwraps one to examine it. Then he tries a corner of it. What does it taste like? How would you like to destroy him? ]
[...Okay, Gundam and Komaeda she could kind of understand, because even if they're kind of attractive... sort of.... to some people, she's sure, Minato is just really cute and sweet? She frowns, crossing her arms and pouting at him.]
Seriously? I would have thought you'd get loads... not just obligation chocolate, either!
[It's slightly spicy, a mix of cumin and cinnamon. Nothing to really knock him out or burn his tongue, but a definite kick mellowed out by the sweetness of the chocolate.]
[ Ooooh, what a good chocolate. He'll save the rest for later since they're just standing outside right now. ]
... I didn't have many friends. [ Friends are a fairly recent phenomenon in his life. And if anyone crushed on him back then they sure didn't confess it. ]
[ He smiles again and looks at the bag she gave him. He's very grateful. ]
I won't forget. Thank you.
[ Friends are great. He misses all the friends he's made in the past year but he's glad to see that he can make friends even without his special Persona powers. He'll have to get her something extra special for White Day. ]
